Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 May, 2026
Imganva is built around a simple principle: your files stay on your device. This Privacy Policy explains clearly how we handle any data that passes through our platform — what we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do.
Please read this page carefully. If you have questions, contact us.

1. Who We Are

Imganva is an online image utility platform that provides tools for image compression, image conversion, image resizing, and image-to-text (OCR). We are based at India.
For privacy-related questions, you can reach us through our contact page.

2. Files You Upload

When you use an Imganva tool and upload or submit a file:

  • Files are processed to deliver the output you requested (for example, a compressed image or converted file).
  • Files are not stored permanently on our servers.
  • Files are not used for any purpose beyond processing your request.
  • Files are not shared with third parties for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
  • Processed files are made available to you for download and are removed from our systems shortly after
    processing is complete.

The exact duration files remain in temporary storage during processing may vary depending on the tool and
infrastructure. We do not retain files beyond what is operationally necessary.

Important: We recommend not uploading files that contain sensitive personal data — such as identification documents,
confidential business records, or medical information — beyond what is necessary for your task.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit Imganva, we may collect certain technical information automatically. This may include:

  • Your IP address (typically anonymised or aggregated)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on the site
  • Referring URL (the page that brought you to Imganva)

This information is collected through analytics tools and is used to understand how people use the platform, identify technical issues, and improve the service. It is not used to identify you personally.

4. Cookies

Imganva uses a small number of cookies. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use them for:

  • Functional purposes: To ensure tools work correctly across your session.
  • Analytics purposes: To collect aggregated data about site usage through third-party analytics tools.

We do not use cookies for advertising or to track your activity across other websites. When you first visit Imganva, you may be presented with a cookie notice. You can manage cookie preferences through
your browser settings at any time.

5. Analytics

We use analytics software to understand traffic patterns and usage on Imganva. This may include tools such as Google Analytics or similar services. These tools may collect anonymised or aggregated data about your visit. We do not use analytics data to identify individual users. We do not sell analytics data to third parties. If you wish to opt out of browser-level analytics tracking, you can use your browser’s privacy settings or a browser extension designed for this purpose.

6. Contact Form Data

If you submit a message through our contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add contact form submissions to marketing lists. We do not share your contact details with third parties, except where required to operate our contact or support infrastructure (for example, an email delivery service).

7. Third-Party Services

Imganva uses a limited number of third-party services to operate. These may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Analytics services
  • Contact form and email delivery services
  • Content delivery networks (CDNs)

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy terms. We select providers carefully and do not share data with third parties for advertising or profiling purposes. We may update the third-party services we use from time to time. Where a change materially affects how your data is handled, we will reflect it in this policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Imganva is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our platform, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

9. Data Retention

  • Uploaded files: Removed shortly after processing is complete.
  • Contact form data: Retained for a reasonable period to manage correspondence, then deleted.
  • Analytics data: Retained in aggregated or anonymised form in line with the relevant provider’s retention policies.

We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data. These may include:

  • The right to access data we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate data
  • The right to request deletion of your data
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

Because Imganva does not collect substantial personal data in most cases, many of these rights may have limited practical application. However, if you wish to make a request, contact us and we will respond appropriately.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect data processed through Imganva. File transfers to and from our platform use encryption (HTTPS). However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We recommend against uploading highly sensitive documents through any online tool.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also add a notice on the site. Continued use of Imganva after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically
